There are numerous posts on LinkedIn criticising recruiters for the poor experience candidates face when applying for roles. One of the most common complaints is that companies simply don't respond.

Before launching scalr, I decided to test this by applying for a few roles myself. The results were mixed: one quick response, one that came weeks later, and four that I'm still awaiting an update on over 12 months later.

This valuable insight led me to conclude that most organisations still lack consistent hiring processes, especially when it comes to something as critical as candidate experience.

That's why when I established scalr, a key driver was to create talent acquisition (TA) processes for organisations to ensure they deliver a level of consistency that's clearly still lacking.
