The Importance of Being Pooh

My wife gifted me a copy of Winnie the Pooh by A. A. Milne for Christmas and I have been repeatedly shocked and refreshed by what this children’s book can teach me.

What have I learned?

           In this world there are Owls: those who think they know everything but know very little indeed.

           In this world there are Piglets: those who know they know nothing and are quite frightened because of it.

           In this world there are Poohs: those who know they know very little but still step out bravely, doing what good they can, knowing they are loved by Christopher Robin.
