Importance of Assessment before migrating to Cloud - DO NOT Compromise!

"Think Before you Leap" is more than a phrase that comes to my mind. In all the discussions I have had over the years, with clients, as an advisor for Cloud migration & Modernization the importance of assessment has never been more important than now.

Migrating to cloud will give you many benefits but it is NOT a one size fits all. There are lot of options available and migration paths.

The optimal approach depends on the characteristics of the application and the amount of money justified in spending to keep the application relevant. Thus is born the phase of Application Assessment for moving to Cloud.
