Import Coordinator - Southampton

A long-established Freight Forwarder who have multiple offices in the UK and operate in over 100 countries worldwide are looking to recruit further for their busy and expanding Import Team in Southampton.
You will be joining a company that has been established for 50yrs+ and have gone through a large recruitment drive in Southampton over the past 12 months and are looking to add to the team further!
The company is happy to consider fully experienced Import Coordinators or candidates that do have some Import or Export and need some upskilling / training (for example to be trained in UK customs / processes), as well as trainee's.
You will be managing all aspects of the import process - including customs procedures.
Predominantly this office manages deep sea imports from the Far East, but understandably is dealing with an increase in post Brexit customs work.
You will be joining a team that deals with large well known brands - including luxury brands.
Naturally to be considered for this role you will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills both written and oral. Along with this you will be able to build excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Excellent attention to detail and being naturally proactive and help will also stand you in good stead.
You will have a working knowledge of Word & Excel.
Working hours:
Monday to Friday (2 shift patterns on rotation) 8am - 4.30pm / 9am - 5.30pm
Salary - subject to experience ï¿¡20-ï¿¡26K basic
25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays
