Import Coordinator - Heathrow (Southall) - Sunday to Thursday working week

Are you an experienced Import Clerk? Perhaps you have a basic knowledge of Imports & Customs Clearance and are looking for a role that will offer you a long-term career and on the job upskilling / training?

A global logistics company are looking to recruit an Import Coordinator to join an existing team based at Heathrow.

As previously stated, the organisation is happy to consider an experienced candidate who can “hit the ground running” or candidates that have some working knowledge of Imports / Customs who are looking for a new role that will offer increased training and upskilling.  The company is also happy to consider candidates from elsewhere within Logistics – eg Supply Chain / Transport Coordinators etc.

Based in this company’s Heathrow (Southall) office, this is a great opportunity to join an organisation that have 50yrs+ industry experience.

Ideally you will have Air Freight experience, but again the company is happy to consider candidates with other modal experience and upskill (i.e Rail / Sea / Road).

You will be managing all aspects of the Import process and completing the relevant customs procedures accurately and in a timely fashion.

Liaising with internal and external stakeholders forms a large part of this role, so naturally your communication skills (written and oral) will be excellent. Working to deadlines, multitasking and prioritising your workload will also be skills that you have demonstrable experience in.

Note: This role is a Sunday to Thursday working week. 9am – 5.30pm - you must be prepared to work these days and hours. (Sundays the working day does have some flexibility if needs be, eg 7am – 3.30pm).

This role offers on the job training and upskilling where required as well as longevity and career progression.

Salary & Package:

￡27,000 - ￡30,000 basic subject to experience (If you are a candidate with less Imports / Freight Forwarding experience that would be reflective in the salary)
