implementing new information....

I am super excited to be attending a three day conference later on this week. With 16,000+ individuals in attendance from around the world there will be SO much to take in. Experts, new product information, leadership development, networking, the list is endless. As always I know from past experience that I will take copious notes, record and be in awe. And then what?
From others that I have spoken to and myself included what tends to happen is that there are a few days even possibly a few weeks where the 'energy' persists. However the notebooks, recordings, learnings get shelved or buried under 'other stuff''.
Not this time! I declare that everyday I will take 5-10 minutes to review sections from this conference and immediately get into action, do things differently.
I'm excited about this commitment. What have you done apres a workshop, conference, seminar to ensure that you are leveraging and installing your education? Please share!

8 年This sounds great. I too have done same things of not acting on newly learned information from conferences and one thing I've done is to have it as in your face as possible whether it electronically via phone, table or if you're old school like myself even a planner. Research tell us it take at least 21 days to form a habit depending on the topic so the more reminders the better. I hope you enjoy your conference !
