Implement FAST!

#2: DESTINATION

I don’t know where you are on your journey, but I hope this newsletter helps you.

Each week will build upon another. Here’s the format.

Part 1: Review from last week with a check-in

Part 2: Something new to implement with a challenge

Part 1: Implement FAST Check-In: IDENTITY

Last week I talked about how everything flows from Identity.

Did you answer these questions?

How do you see yourself?

What is your identity?

Where are you at?

If not, take some time today to answer them.

Remember: You must start thinking and acting like the person you want to become to become that person.

?

For me, I answered these questions, and I did not like what I saw.

I have had a very emotional week, but the most impactful thing as I was preparing to write this newsletter last Friday morning. Here were my reflections.

"I am having issues in all areas of my life. I was?reminded this morning that it's not about circumstances. I wrote down the following."

“I am a child of God."

"I am made in his image, and God has called me to be a warrior and fight against the powers of darkness today.”

"Perhaps for the first time, I believed it?- meaning, I genuinely sought my identity in God and not myself or circumstance or something else."

I am not sure how that resonates with you, but having this identity was critical for me as I faced the stresses of the week.

But it didn’t stop there.

I started declaring “ I am” statements twice daily on my bathroom mirror.

I know I will do more as being firmly rooted in a new identity is so important.

?

Perhaps you have a different identity – A Winner, or a?Leader, or something else.

Find some affirmations and declare them to yourself daily.

And if you have other ideas, be sure to put them in the comments so that everyone can benefit.

Part 2: DESTINATION

Where are you going?

Where is the best place to go?

What is your goal?

I’ve heard statements from two people this week that I think will be helpful in answering these questions.

1.????? What is the highest and best use of your time?

2.????? Thriving is doing these three things:

(1)??? Getting better everyday.

(2)??? Getting where you want to go.

(3)??? Having meaning by helping others get to where they want to go.

In reviewing these statements, I realize my long-term goals should not be about me or my pride. After all, a man wrapped up in himself is the smallest package.

In choosing my goal, my purpose must be about about helping others – regardless of the time period on that goal (1 hour, 1 day, 1 month, 1 yr, etc.).

What do you think?

Be sure to answer these questions this week and post your comments.
