Implants for Every Dentist

Implants for Every Dentist

There is little doubt that dental implants are increasing in our industry, whether through advances in technology or just patient-to-patient networking, implants are on an upward trajectory.?In North America alone the consensus is that over the next 7-8 years we could see 6.5% -10% growth making this segment a $2.5 Billion piece of the dental puzzle. To stay relevant to the patient base many dentists are now placing or thinking of placing implants.?Here at NDI, we see this trend as well and have partnered with a local group, Implant Evolution.?Implant Evolution centers around the educational and support aspect for dentists, as well as valuing the sole practitioner independent dental office, just like us here at NDI.?So, what better way to connect our loyal customers than to take a moment to learn a little more about Implant Evolution than with a quick Q&A with their COO, Ross Jones.?

Andy:?Ross, thank you for joining me today and helping us learn more about Implant Evolution.?Obviously, I know about who and what you guys are about but take a moment to tell our readers about the company.

Ross:?Thanks for inviting me today and of course, I’d love to tell everyone about Implant Evolution.?Everyone can agree that teeth matter, a confident smile means a great deal to a person’s sense of self-worth.?Missing teeth can be the cause of pain to an individual and while partials and dentures offer an option we believe the best solution for missing teeth are dental implants. ?At Implant Evolution it is our goal to make dental implants available and affordable to everyone.?We believe we can achieve this by our commitment to our two-tiered system for post graduate dentists through a foundation of high-end education and live surgery training.

Andy:?What do you see at the biggest issue or roadblock preventing either dentists from placing more implants or for the patient to feel that implants are an option for them.?Is it that they just perceive dental implants are too expensive and they just opt for the cheaper option??

Ross:?Well, the answer is that it is most likely a little of both, nearly one million people are searching the phrase dental implants every month on the internet.?Most of what you find is too clinical or it’s not written by a dentist and it is just confusing or not accurate.?At Implant Evolution we strive to make dental implants easy for the patient to understand and for the dentist to integrate into their practice.?At www.implantevoution.com we have hundreds of clinically correct articles written in such a way that everyone can digest it and have the confidence and trust that an implant can be and is the best option. When you talk over the non-clinician’s head and try and make something confusing it prevents the patient from viewing this as a viable option and it’s just plain simply intimidating.?Secondly, to answer your question about the cost, you’re correct, if the dental practitioner had to invest tens of thousands of dollars to offer implants though a similar training platform it would cause them to pass that cost along, but here at Implant Evolution we offer the highest end educational tools and seminars but we go a step further and have live hands-on surgical training at affordable entry costs…passing those savings along to the patient.

Andy:?Ross that sounds great!?So how do our dentists find out how to join a course or to become an Implant Evolution provider?

Ross:?First, go to www.implantevolution.com and click the blue “FOR DENTISTS” link in the upper right-hand corner of the home page to learn more.?If the dentist is interested in becoming an Implant Evolution office, they should follow the “Surgical Training Classes” option and sign up for our Continuum.?Modules 1-4 are held at Lipscomb University and Module 5 is reserved for the mentorship session and live surgical training. And we are currently in the process of scheduling weekend course options for those outside of the middle Tennessee area to attend.?

Andy:?Also, they can ask their NDI Account Representative.?Ross, I appreciate your time and I hope all of our dentists considering incorporating dental implants in their practice, or even those that took another course but would like to continue their education, would consider Implant Evolution.
