Imperial Star Solar Partners with GivePower to Impact Global Change

Imperial Star Solar is thrilled to announce a new partnership with GivePower, an award-winning 501(c)(3) nonprofit helping meet the world’s water and electrification needs.

GivePower’s mission is to electrify the world with clean energy and provide greater health, economic and educational opportunities for developing regions that need them most. They use solar and battery storage technologies to deliver essential services to the developing world. They have helped bring clean power and clean water to underserved communities in 28 countries across Africa, Asia and Latin America.?

To date, GivePower has:?

• Powered 2,433 schools
• Provided access to clean drinking water for more than 1 Million people through its 15 Solar Water Farms in Kenya, Haiti, and Colombia
• Positively impacted the lives of more than 1.9 million people across 28 countries throughout Asia, Africa, and the Americas

Imperial Star Joins The Cause?

Imperial Star announced its partnership with GivePower during its grand opening ceremony on June 27, 2024. With a room full of government officials, industry professionals, and partners as witnesses, Imperial Star Solar pledged to donate $200 for every MW of Imperial Star brand PV modules sold and deployed.

What does this mean for GivePower??

With this pledge and Imperial Star’s annual production capacity of 2 GWs, this pledge has the potential to provide an annual $400,000 to support GivePower’s award-winning Solar Water Farm program across the globe.

Because a $20 investment can provide an individual access to safe water for more than 20 years, the impact of this partnership cannot be overstated.?
