Impercation of oil, ISIS, Arab Spring and rebranded imperialists
Analysing geostrategic implications of “Islamic extremist and terrorist’’ (an absolutely inappropriate term. Islam has nothing with terror and condemns all kind of extremism.) actions, we can conclude that such extremists, mainly followers of ‘’takfir ideology’’, including so-called Islamic State, Al Qaida, Boko Haram and others, no matter whether many of them realise that, are servants and soldiers of enemies of Islam. These groups are one of the most powerful tools for justifying wars in Muslim countries, predominantly countries with great natural resources or with important geostrategic positions and are the driving force for the spread of Islamophobia in the West. It is a very dangerous and brutal attack on Islam to call something “Islamic State”, when it is in absolute opposition to what a real, recommended state should be like, according to Islamic teachings. Also, it is absolutely forbidden in Islam to use symbols of Prophet Muhammad (saws) to represent such barbaric actions.
R. Pazar was one of the many criminals fighting in IS forces, and was a former soldier of the Serbian (Christian Orthodox) Army forces; he fought during the war in Bosnia (1992-1995), which was made famous by its mass killings of Muslim civilians. There are reports that he was among the most active killers within the force. Twenty years later, the killer of Muslim civilians in Bosnia, goes to Iraq and Syria to spread fear and kills the Muslim population in these countries, now as so-called ‘’holy warrior-jihadist’’. It is a ridiculous fact that world leading countries have allowed the establishment of a “criminal paradise’’ in the territories of Iraq and Syria. Also, more ridiculous is the fact that world’s leading media has helped these criminals to steal the true story about Islam. Less than 0.01% of people with Muslims names are presented as an example of all Muslims.
For the answer to the question, who are real Muslims, the global media should first look at Bosnia, where the first victims of R. Pazar and his companions’ crimes lived. Despite the fact that during aggression on Bosnia and Herzegovina (1992-1995) Serbs (Christian Orthodox) and Croats (Christian) destroyed almost all masjids, places where Muslim performed prayers, in areas under their control and killed nearly two hundred thousand Bosnians (Muslim) population, the majority of churches remained untouched. In Sarajevo, which was under Serbian siege for 1,425 days, and during which 11,541 people were killed, many of them children, not one church were destroyed. Citizens of Sarajevo, a majority Muslim population, considered then, as well as now, these churches as a treasure of the city. Many of these churches have been ornaments of the city over the centuries. Someone who wants to support IS, Al Qaida, Boko Haram and other criminal groups will try to present all Muslims as potential members of the aforementioned criminal groups to spread and promote their ideology. The problem is, also, that many countries found out ways to get rid of certain “Unwanted’’ individuals and groups by allowing them to go to “criminal paradise’’.
At the same time, the Arab Spring remains only a tall story with a very dangerous message for Muslims globally, namely that they are not able to establish and function under normal, real democratic societies where human rights of all people will be respected, despite religion, race, political and ideological orientation. They have to be under dictatorship or in anarchy and chaos. It should be underlined that oil is not the only important resource in the Muslim World. There are more than enough natural resources for the development of strong economies and preconditions for a pleasant life for all citizens who live in Muslim countries. Unfortunately, God’s gifts have been used improperly and instead of happiness, certain areas in Muslim World have a tragedy. The tragedy of residents of Iraq, Libya, Syria, Afghanistan, Yemen, Somalia, Palestine and others show that they are on paths that have been forged by new, rebranded imperialists, who are fulfilling their strategic plans. Instead of partaking in advantages of oil-rich economies, the residents of these countries are instead faced with the imprecation of oil.
