Impending Strike By Lagos Container Transporters And Its Global Effects.

There are alleged concern that container transporters may go on strike anytime  soon due to the recent Lagos State traffic laws restricting trucks movements.

This is just a forerunner for all shipping companies and vessel operators to put short term strategies in place due to imminent congestion in terms of vessel arrival and vessel berthing for all vessels calling Lagos port.

In addition, all Nigerian companies and individuals should take advantage of the time allowed to take deliveries of their cargoes from various terminals in Lagos, Nigeria if this is applicable.

Would keep all in the loop accordingly as events unfold.

Sir, the strike has been on since Thursday, 10th Sept and there seems to be no end in sight as of today.
