The Button Probes of the Impedans RFEAs are designed to be replaceable in the field. Lifetime is typically 10 to 100 hours of plasma exposure or up to 10 microns of deposition.

In addition to the standard buttons we have new buttons for more extreme plasma environments.?

  • 4x sensitivity for low density plasmas
  • 10x transmission reduction for high density plasmas (ECR, etc.).

NEW?High Pressure Buttons:

  • Extends pressure range from 300 mTorr to 1.5 Torr
  • Limited to 150 eV scanning range at max pressure in Argon

New Semion 3 keV available with 3x ion energy range compared to the standard Semion RFEA. Contact us today for more information.

Hurling and Impedans

What does over 3000 years of sporting heritage and the fastest field sport in the world make up? Hurling - the national sport of Ireland which many of us here at Impedans have played at some point of our lives.

Played around the country by people of all ages, hurling is a growing sport, now reaching areas such as New York,?San Francisco,?and Vancouver. All that is needed to play is an axe shaped stick, known as a hurl and a ball, known as a sliotar, as well as a pitch/field to play on.?

From the smallest townlands to cities?the ambition is one day to play at?Croke Park in the heart of Dublin. This stadium,?with capacity for over 82,000 is the 3rd largest stadium in Europe and hosts the All Ireland Hurling Final each September.?

The?sport?dates back to?Irish myth and legend?and is something?we?here at Impedans would highly?recommend?watching?or even?playing,?if the chance ever arises.?Let me know if you have a club in your area - [email protected]
