The elevator pitch is dead - let's get to the point with your Memory Dart! I'll show you how to introduce yourself and your business with outstanding clarity. #ClarityWins #ConfusionLoses
A new book has just come out, and I'm a huge fan. I've admired the simplicity and clarity (and brevity) of the Axios newsletters for a while, and this book explains the framework they use. And if you appreciate the need for communication clarity, you will LOVE this easy-to-read book. It has my highest recommendation.
Speaking of clarity, here is part 5 of my series on Gaining Career Clarity: Look to the future, not the past (avoid the "sunk cost" fallacy).

Here are some newsy things?(medicine/science/tech/business) you'll want to check out this week:
Suppressing COVD with mouthwash.
Big layoffs at Biomarin.
Eli Lilly gets an FDA fast-track for its new weight-loss drug.
Corporate meetings: out of control? What do you think?
-----
And now, some interesting and whimsical items:
The Onion (a parody news site) writes a hilarious and very insightful amicus brief defending parody...for the Supreme Court.
Visual storytelling - a marvelous animation of human fertilization.
Finally, an image from my camera. It's autumn, but some of these bursts of color are still hanging around!
