Impactful start to 2024

FareShare is the UK’s national network of charitable food redistributors, made up of 18 independent organisations including Fareshare South West. Together, they take good quality surplus food from across the food industry and get it to 8,500 frontline charities and community groups.

More than 3 million tonnes of good-to-eat surplus food goes to waste in the UK each year, whilst millions of people are facing food insecurity on a daily basis, unable to feed themselves or their families.

As a nurturing family business, St. Ewe Free Range Eggs believes strongly in supporting those who need a little help from time to time and when we can, donate our surplus eggs to FareShare to distribute across their network.

We are so pleased to share our FareShare South West Supplier Snapshot for the first three months of 2024. As you’ll see our delicious eggs have made a powerful difference to real people in need.

The 203 charities our eggs reach offer wraparound services, like free advice, computer access or just some friendly company in the warm. At schools, breakfast clubs help children attend more regularly, concentrate in class, and enjoy time with friends.

Wherever our free-range eggs arrive, they bring a full belly, dignity, and the comfort of knowing someone cares.?
