Dear LinkedIn Community,
For The Challenge Fund for Youth Employment this was a month full of events, activities and publications. We are very excited to gather all of them in our new issue of ImpactFuel - The CFYE monthly update and share them with you!
From success stories and program milestones to the broader implications of our partnerships, we're committed to showing you how CFYE is not merely a program, but a catalyst for change.
Beyond the numerical aspects, our newsletter features insights from experts navigating the layered field of youth employment, the direct testimonies of youth who benefitted from our initiatives and our implementing partners' success stories.
Impact Stories: Youth Narratives of Change
New month - new Impact Story! After successfully completing all 6 Calls, we are already witnessing the profound transformative impact that CFYE-funded programs are creating for youth and their future prospects. That is why it is now time to amplify their voices and listen to their direct testimonies and insightful stories.
This month, our stories and posts revolved around women- led and women-focused initiatives. In addition celebrations of International Women's Day on the 8th of March, CFYE decided to dedicate a full week to #CelebratingFemaleYouthEmpowerment.
Our new Impact Story features Salma and Sarah, two inspiring entrepreneurs whose paths converged through the transformative RDNA Works' Women Entrepreneurs Bootcamp; a catalyst for their entrepreneurial aspirations.
Salma's journey with Shoka w Megdaf at VeryNile on Qursaya Island and Sarah's launch of Samra NC, an eco-friendly cosmetics company, highlight the power of women in Egyptian innovation and sustainability. RDNA's guidance empowered Salma to expand Shoka w Megdaf's impact, while Sarah found a profitable path by successfully navigating business challenges.
Their message to fellow Egyptian entrepreneurial women? Start small but dream big, taking incremental steps towards your goals, and leveraging available support networks.

On the 29th of February, CFYE brought together a diverse group of stakeholders for its first cross-country Learning Event in Tunis to delve into the challenges and opportunities surrounding the self-employment model, focusing on job quality and gender inclusivity. With participation from CFYE global and country teams alongside 20 of our implementing partners from #Senegal, #Morocco, #BurkinaFaso and #Tunisia, the event fostered rich discussions and collaborative problem solving.
