As many of you are aware, IITGAA serves as a bridge that not only connects us all but also actively contributes to the betterment and wellbeing of our alumni and alma mater. Our status in USA as a Charitable Nonprofit Corporation, exempt from both Federal and State income taxes, and our recognition under the IRC section 501(c)(3) as a private foundation, provides us with a unique opportunity to maximize our impact – with your help.

Many employers in the U.S. have matching gift programs where they match charitable contributions made by their employees. By simply listing IITGAA as a recognized nonprofit within your company's charitable match program, you can double the impact of your donation.

Benefits to our Alumni Community:

1. Enhanced Funding: Every matched donation amplifies our ability to run scholarships, mentorship programs, networking events, webinars, and other initiatives.

Steps to Make it Happen:

1. Check Eligibility: Contact your HRBP (Business Partner) and Verify if your employer offers a charitable matching gift program.
2. Nominate IITGAA: Request to add IITGAA to the list of recognized nonprofits within your company's (employer) program.
3. Provide Documentation: Share our IRC section 501(c)(3) private foundation status. We can provide any needed documentation upon request. Please reach out to me at [email protected] for EIN and other 501(c)(3) documentation.
4. Inform Us: Once listed, please let us know (by emailing to [email protected]), so we can guide other alumni in your organization to make the most of this.
