IMPACT Network Now Accepting Bitcoin Donations - Support Cannabis Research

IMPACT Network is now accepting cryptocurrency donations in Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin.

Donate Bitcoin

Clinical research on the medical benefits of cannabis is not funded by the U.S. government because it is listed as a Schedule 1 drug with no medical benefits. Private foundations are unlikely to provide grants to IMPACT Network because of stigma, miseducation that donating to cannabis research is illegal, or conflict with donors that are affiliated with the pharmaceutical industry. That’s why it’s so important we raise money from donors like you.

By making it easy for donors to donate cryptocurrency from anywhere in the world, we offer a secure, anonymous way for you to support cannabis research, even if it’s not legal in your country. Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency can be easily sold and converted into cash by our 501c3 nonprofit, making funds available instantly for research. As always, bitcoin, ethereum, and litecoin donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

Not sure what bitcoin or cryptocurrency is? CNN provides a great overview.

What Does Your Donation Fund?

We have several active or prelaunching research studies at IMPACT Network that need your support.

  1. We are members of the Colorado Cancer Coalition. We have access to the Colorado Cancer Registry to identify if cannabis is improving the lives of cancer patients and optimize their treatment plans, and how to use cannabis to treat survivors of cancer. We know almost zero in the United States about cannabis for cancer, despite Cancer being why THC was legalized in the United States as Marinol. With a donation we can begin our breast cancer and cannabis study as well as lay the groundwork for studies of other types of cancers.
  2. We have a "Repurposing Cannabinoids Combined with Health Coaching for the Prevention and Treatment of Breast Cancer" study we fundraising for. It will cost just $250 per breast cancer patient per year to be enrolled in our research. The proposal to cover a portion of the costs can be found on the CureAccelerator platform: https://app.cureaccelerator.org/loi/view/496.
  3. We have a large-scale Women's Health and Marijuana Efficacy Data Set (WMEDS) study in partnership with Strainprint, an app research platform based in Toronto. We will publish on the benefits and risk of using women using cannabis for pelvic pain, autoimmune disorders, chronic pain, mental health, and much more. This study is still fundraising, having met only $2500 of its $250,000 goal.
