Impact Explorer

Impact Explorer

Hello, hope you enjoyed your impact summer! We are trying to ignore that the summer holidays are almost over... We have enjoyed biodiversity in Africa, nature at its wildest in the US, festivals, the underwater world of Ibiza, regeneration in Spain and of course a lot of hiking and swimming in not too far away places as well.

We are impact collective has been busy, we welcomed new impact initiatives in their journey to scaling, family offices with talks on philanthropy and impact investing, we are helping a company with innovative bacteria and sound boarding organizations on getting impact done from tomatoes to refugee academies. Our first impact safari is prepared for a first nice customer and they will not regret it?? we have gone all the way to give them a shower of inspiration on all biobased and social housing options in the making. We prepared our first Impact into play day and enjoyed lunches at each others place as we don’t have an office space. We did work on Impactopia…but that’s for another Explorer.

We bring together Visionary Impact People at the MAS - Antwerp on October 12th. Interested to join? Let us know! Contact [email protected] or your favourite WAIC-member.

We have a warm heart for several projects, but this one- looking for funding- we feel is absolutely worth highlighting.

Eat moreTrees is an international documentary on agroforestry and perennials. As welook to the future, one of the greatest threats to life on Earth is the loomingdepletion of fertile soil.

Luckily huge problems come with huge opportunities. Enter the foodforest: a revolutionary approach to agriculture that mimics the diversity and resilience of natural ecosystems. Eat More Trees brings to life the incredible potential of food forests to save our soil and transform the way we produce food. In the documentary you meet the pioneers and visionaries who are leading the way and see firsthand how food forests can bring about a more just, sustainable and regenerative world.

Is there yoga breathwork creative work hikes swimming and festive organic food? Yes. Did you have presentations about Impact ideas and organizations? Yes. Why it makes sense to make noise about the climate

That it can sometimes be difficult to remain hopeful about the future of the climate when you read reports of disappearing species every day is not so surprising. Besides, the annoying thing is that "we" - the people who worry about the climate - tend to think that others don't worry about it that much at all.

?Time for an optimistic reality check: that assumption is wrong! Again and again we overestimate the number of climate skeptics; again and again we underestimate how many people recognize the climate problem and want to contribute to a solution.
