Nothing like a good laugh-but let's talk about a reality that brand managers know all too well!
When other teams stretch the logo, ignore brand colors, or get a little too creative, it can feel like a light-hearted moment, but the importance of brand consistency is no joke.
As a "brand cop," I'm usually the one who does the gentle but occasionally firm reminders of why those matter, just give me the platform. It's not just about colors and logos; it's about crafting a strong, recognizable identity, consistently speaking to the target audience across every touchpoint.
Of course, it's the easiest thing in the world to want to shake things up a bit, mix and match, or get creative without adhering to brand elements, but having a brand intact means that the brand story is always clear and cohesive. I’m passionate about helping teams/individuals see the bigger picture – how staying on-brand drives trust, communicates professionalism, and ultimately contributes to an organization's growth.
Branding is not a rulebook but the pulse of every organization's communications strategy: strong, consistent, and impactful-both to the organization and its clients.
