Immortality or not

?If you permit at least two distinct categories: 1) physical and 2) immaterial, then it seems much simpler to sort out questions of mortality and immortality. Physicists deny immaterial exists; “everything is physical,” “everything is particles,” etc.), however, simple direct empirical observation is clear that consciousness is real = exist + true. Physical is not sentient, but consciousness is. It is inconceivable that anything physical is immortal, if immortal means cannot end. Everything physical necessarily exists with both begin and end, which are the boundaries of a physical life.

One instance of immaterial category is consciousness, for instance 1) superconsciousness, 2) witness consciousness, 3) private personal ego consciousness, and 4) enself = collective ego consciousness. Illumination of ego consciousness clearly, unambiguously, with sentient feeling certainty, reveals that consciousness is ultimately simultaneous, which means exists everywhere at once. The sentient feeling illumination experience is not an abstraction. It is a direct experience of contemplation = being with no separation between the subject to consciousness, the object of consciousness and consciousness itself.

Illumination reveals that ego consciousness is ultimately simultaneous with superconsciousness and superconsciousness is ultimately simultaneous with eternal. It is certain eternal is immortal because eternal exists without beginning. Eternal genesis-emanates superconsciousness, which is the first object that exists with beginning. Superconsciousness genesis-creates everything else that exists with beginning. At death of a physical body (which is certain to occur), the immaterial ego consciousness docked to that physical body/brain/central nervous system, leaves and returns to its source, like a drop of water returning to the sea. That is immortality, however, there are two possibilities: 1) private personal ego consciousness is obliterated when it returns to the source superconsciousness (like try to find that drop of water after it returns to the sea!), and 2) some coherence and congruence remains for the private history of that ego consciousness.

For those left behind when someone dies, we are permanently cut off from further communication with the ego consciousness that has departed. For everyone left behind, it is as if the ego consciousness died with the body. However, it is quite a common experience for ego consciousness to leave the physical body without the physical body dying, so it is not a great stretch of imagination or fantasy to suggest or report (an actual experience) that ego consciousness exists independent of a physical body that it docks with (that is good empirical observation reporting).

This is actually cosmogony, not cosmology, and science of physics has absolutely nothing to say about cosmogony, which is the metaphysics that explains what necessarily exists before the first object in the first universe begins to exist, that could cause that object to begin.
