We witnessed the ascend of our new Home Secretary, Suella Baverman this week following the appointment of Liz Truss as our new Prime Minister.??Both the government officials are already under pressure from think tanks, activists and lawyers to review and reconsider harsh migration policies particularly those surrounding asylum seekers.?
A short term breath of relief comes as Liz Truss announces the shelving of the new Bill of Rights for the time being.?
Revisions to policies surrounding Asylum seekers continue with the updates to the asylum dispersal grants, updates to the Afghan resettlement Guidance and review report of asylum partnership agreement with Rwanda.?
