So you want to build the future, huh? Well, come on in. The water is.. well let's say, fluid.

If you asked anybody 20 or 30 years ago what we thought the world would be like in this day and age it was a lot of talk of flying cars and sharks with laser beams. Oh wait, that's just my favorite line from the notorious Dr. Evil planning a malevolent takeover of the world as we know it. The real version of how we embrace the flow of information through diodes and transistors is limited by the reality of energy we can capture in our own means of understanding. With innovative world leaders and their teams paving the way with breakthroughs in communication, spaceflight, and next-generation humanitarian capabilities we are at the pinnacle of what seems possible with a few unanswered questions waiting to be discovered as time goes on.

As a self-taught and born enthusiast for all things that move in a forward trajectory and ever-lasting expansiveness, I've always wanted to do my part in creating a sustainable and meaningful impact. I get inspired and spark my curiosity from watching the masters at their crafts pave the way whether it's my peers in the commercialized space race or a friend that works late nights and weekends streamlining that line of code. I may never amount to the level of greatness I seek but strive every day to do my part in the everlasting cycle of handoffs and evolution of the things we embrace every day. It is the small steps that add up to big leaps in what can be considered a vast jump into something more than what can be expected.

I know hardware... I tinkered with blade servers and network technologies rummaging through my dad's work gear playing in his Palo Alto office when I was old enough to tag along for the day. Since then I've constructed and sold dozens of gaming PCs and workstations and have landed in a place of the complacency of troubleshooting endless boot cycles and motherboard codes in facilitating solutions to the problem. This laid roots for a love in building other hardware technologies. More specifically anything Autonomous such as UAVs, UUVs, and rovers. There is something about it. Maybe just the extended reach of information where humans and living organisms would not dare to set foot brings a level of gratitude and excitement for what we can learn from these vessels. I consider this first part my technical know-how and skill sets but I will not sell short my creative counterpart that has allowed for me to get the juices flowing. I believe that side has stemmed from two places as an adolescent. My obsession with animation and video games.

When I was eight years old I received one of the greatest joys of my life that I still cherish to this day... a Game Boy! I remember it distinctly and its brick-like form with adjustable brightness dial on the side for one to lock in a perfect contrast for that favorite cartridge game. As a Millenial, I was too young to really appreciate the original Atari or Nintendo's of their time. It's not that they were not amazing as well, just a different era and trend I was not around to be a part of. But for my peers that read this... I hope you can relate to the fascination for what it represents to you. The euphoria of dopamine triggers a rush of excitement as you watch the digital scoreboard rack up points. For those like me of all ages, we all have that one electronic that made us the person we are today. From the day I held that little electronic in my hand and every rendition of the console to hit the market from Triple-A platforms to mobile technologies crunching out the latest games on your phone, I just knew I wanted to have a part in this. Watching the evolution of pixelated storytelling go from a black and white 4:3 screen to the revolutionary realism of 3D capabilities from companies like Epic Games, Microsoft, Sony, and my friends at Nintendo. I fell in love with everything three-dimensional.

This brings me into the reasoning of why I've been working so vigorously in refining my strategy to further pursue projects like eXperience Over Media and Oasis Core Platform. It has become more than just a business strategy but a celebration of the things I love, the people whom I admire, and symbolism of how I want to be perceived. Yes, the older I get the more it is apparent that I must solve a problem and excite my user base with like-minded tools and things of interest that can be embraced in their own means. However, I say this with pride and ferocity behind my statements. This will never be the core reason why I push myself to further what I thought I could comprehend in the first place.

So yes I know... it took me longer to get to the point than I expected but as I elaborate on the methods behind my madness I hope anyone reading this gets to know me better. My leap into creating autonomous delivery vehicles and utilizing immersive interactions for a gateway between the immersive web and our real-world counterpart has a purpose.

I have spent hours upon days working out the logistics of how this would all play a part in the future as we know it our seemingly aim it to be. Our drone prototype can carry nothing more than a small morsel of goods but defines fundamental principles in place of having a scale factor and feasibility that can grow into something more. From concept to creation I've learned so much in little time as I've explored all avenues of making this project possible. I've tackled many challenges and fears of doing something new for the first time and in the end, it gave me the understanding to realize leaps of faith have both key benefits and unwritten miscalculations. It is the aspects of exploring and uncovering new things that help us grow to our true potential. With our UAV fully operational and test flight in the upcoming week and as we tap into our XOM application system, I have never been more excited to see how the unwritten will unfold. Today it's just a small backyard delivery project but maybe, just maybe tomorrow it can lead to something much more.
