Immerse your VSA into your DNA

Immerse your VSA into your DNA

This week's strategy is a short but powerful one.

Off-loading your tasks (and that of your executives) is a sure-shot way of profiting from the the VSA service.

But you'll stop short if you don't treat them like your inner-circle teammates.

For me, I have my VSAs subscribe to podcasts, newsletters, YouTube channels, and books that matter to me.

I want them to understand what matters to me. How I want stakeholders to be treated. And why I do what I do.

Each morning, when they start their shift, they watch or listen to an episode that primes them for work. And when there is downtime, they're reading a newsletter.

Time is always spent on other execution or personal development.

Not a bad way to maximize the time anyway, right?

This investment in them makes them feel valued. And because they know how I think, they understand how important their work is, and it even allows them to make suggestions on how to honor my company's visions even more.

action steps

Who are your best business leaders? Have your teammate subscribe to their platforms, and buy them a copy of your favorite book from them.

Where do you get your intel to make your decisions, or to create content? Make that part of your onboarding training and require them to stay up-to-date with their news.

Have them submit a report at the end of the week with their top three takeaways from the personal development you're giving them, and maybe three ideas that could make your organization better. And maybe give them some time to create and execute something. I love the idea that so many world-changing ideas came from side projects and frontline workers.

now for the mental stuff

It's a mindset shift, and I don't blame you. You're paying for your VSA in the form of a SAAS product; these workers are based in a different continent and culture; and they weren't your key people from Day One...so it seems naturally detached from your organization.

But I challenge you to act as if this makes sense (because it does, if you decide it does), and immerse them like you would anybody you want to keep in your organization forever.

I've been using VSAs for years now. They've enabled me to: own/operate a chain of ten restaurants, generating $20 million in revenue // grow my consulting practice internationally // and write, podcast, direct a nonprofit, tinker with ideas, be with my family more, and enjoy all of what I do.

To this day, I still believe that they are the smartest and most affordable way to grow.

Myself and so many other business owners have used the service to offload lead generation, sales, customer service, bookkeeping, and anything you can think of (and we also share things you DIDN'T think of).

All it takes is a commitment of five minutes a day. We'll show you how.
