Business Analyst?

Qualifications

3+ years’ healthcare experience with providers and/or payers for claims and payment processing or other payment processing experience. 5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst or related role. High level of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Working knowledge and experience with SQL databases required.

Excellent work ethic, leadership skills, interpersonal and organizational skills. Strong analysis, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, results-oriented environment. Ability to work independently in solving business problems. Demonstrates a high-level organizational skill with the ability to prioritize and manage change.

Undergraduate degree In Business or equivalent work experience. Experience and knowledge of Agile Methodologies such as KANBAN and Scrum is preferred.

Duties and responsibilities

Provides the link between the technical and business views of the system by ensuring that the technical solutions being developed will satisfy the needs of the business. Ensures high level designs including architecture requirements are accurately documented and map to approved requirements. Partner with sponsors, stakeholders, and IT to facilitate, define and document relevant business processes, gaining an understanding of the needs, measures, and risks & controls for the improvement area.

Collaborate with, and motivate a cross-functional team of business analysts, developers, testers and others to develop, execute and release in alignment with program and/or product roadmaps. Assist with prioritizing and assessing the impact of all work items, such as new features, defects, etc. Review, and when appropriate, accept and prioritize feedback and new requirements from stakeholders. Review and accept or decline output of development to ensure specified acceptance criteria have been completed. Ensure development and QA teams understand requirements prior to development. Answer questions and support team throughout development and testing.
