IMechE Engineering Challenges in the Hydrogen Economy conference returns on 6-7 March 2024 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London
The Institution of Mechanical Engineers proudly presents the fourth annual Engineering Challenges in the Hydrogen Economy conference. This event provides engineers with a valuable platform for discussing shared challenges, applications, and strategies in the field. As more projects progress from concept to commercial scale, it's essential to sustain these conversations and share lessons learned while defining the evolving role of mechanical engineers in this dynamic landscape.
Speaking about last year’s event, one of the attendees from Shell noted that the conference was: " An excellent event that provided the right balance of strategic insight and detailed technical content, along with an opportunity to network with industry peers wrestling with similar hydrogen-related challenges".
Over two days, the conference allows engineers to address challenges across the hydrogen value chain, including production, distribution, storage, and utilisation. It explores hydrogen's role in the energy system, emphasising the need for effective and scalable solutions for a net-zero future. Gain insights from case studies, identify bottlenecks, and collaborate on innovative projects, discovering opportunities and lessons for optimal development in the evolving hydrogen economy.
