iMBA - 10X Banking

The world of financial services is experiencing transformational change and 10X Banking is working at the heart of those changes. Led by former Barclays CEO, Antony Jenkins, 10X has assembled world-leading expertise in data analytics and artificial intelligence alongside financial services experts, technologists and creatives to build a banking platform that will give customers a safer and more transparent banking experience. It’s a privilege to be joining such an extraordinary team on such an important mission.

When I set out to develop my iMBA, I always knew that I wanted to learn more about digital innovation and how the cultures, practices and technologies of the digital era are changing the world. Working at 10X is a great opportunity to learn more about some of the larger scale changes that are in play. The financial crisis in 2007/2008 fundamentally exposed some significant faults in the banking system but if the ten years since then have taught us anything, it’s that the system is still a long way from being as effective and fair as it needs to be.

My role at 10X will be to research how financial services are changing - it promises to be a challenging and exciting few months!
