Imagine yourself in the Dock!!!!!

Imagine yourself as the CEO of a Licensed Door Processing company of #TimberFireDoors and you are facing prosecution by the Health & Safety Executive for failing to supply compliant timber fire door sets to a project.

This is what you will witness at this ground-breaking event – Guilty of Not Guilty – Know your legal responsibility when it comes to fire safety.

Taking place on the morning of Thursday 26th September at The Senate House in London, the event will take the format of an interactive mock criminal trial. With lawyers from Russell-Cooke Solicitors in charge of proceedings, this scenario will focus on the actions of a Licensed Door Processor who is being charged by the Health & Safety Executive and will give an insight into what can go wrong for them in the event of a fire incident. You, and the rest of the attendees, will be given the opportunity to consider the evidence and decide if they are Guilty or Not Guilty?

Why should you attend?

  • Learn how to mitigate the risk of exposure to investigation and/or prosecution in the event of a fire incident and minimise your reputational risk.
  • Brush up on the responsibility of a Licensed Door Processor and their legal requirements within the chain of supply under the Health & Safety at Works Act.
  • Find out where the responsibility may lie, even if you are not the primary supplier.

How to join in

If you are involved in the specification, procurement, manufacture, installation or subsequent maintenance of timber fire doors and door sets, we really think you will benefit from attending this event.
