Imagine that……. which is something about the future life with 3D printing

Imagine ………. that you will get a car, furniture, tool, clothing or other product - 100% tailored to you and your needs, and it's all much easier, faster and cheaper than now.

3D printing is already present in every part of our live. Every day you can meet with 3D printers used in medicine, industry,…….. meat production?... ice cream or chocolate are printed too. Obtaining any shape, color or structure is not unrealistic. In the future, when digitizing the world, we will be able to print a steak that will contain the perfect amount of fat, distributed in perfect places. We will be able to buy a car that will have equipment in accordance with our requirements and even "tailor-made". And it wont be a super car. "Tailored", which we will also be able to prepare at home – by scanning, sending data to producer. This will be easy. The era in which the products (tools, guidance) are printed on the basis of the patient's scans and are used for the operation, thus reducing the risk of the operation itself, but also accelerating rehabilitation – is the real existing application right now. Why not to implement this in everyday life. Enthusiasts of 3D printers surprise us with something innovative every day. Some “strange” application are shown and bring us closer to customizing our environment, which will become "as we want". And what is more, the possibility of changing any cravings will not be an unattainable challenge. Brilliant… imagine headphones for listening to your music that fit exactly to your ear canal and give you the perfect sound! Epic? For me really epic!

Imagine ……… that in the future car parts, parts for household appliances will not be bought in physical form, but we will print them on our 3D printer at home or at the service . Yes there will be additive technology points next to the photocopying points.

More and more companies are wondering and implementing 3D printing for after-sales and service support. Knowing the potential and rapidly expanding capabilities of printers, they want to use it now so that they can be the first in the next "industrial" revolution - digitization of our world. Printing any kind of part will be possible in the future - and a technology that now seems difficult to many - will become commonplace. When working in the 3D printing industry, I can see every day how big is the pressure of companies producing filament or other materials towards new applications, replacing those that are not available so far and expanding those that already exist. With every new solution, part of the world of 3D printing changes and adapts more to the new material. All this means that we can freely imagine that our future will be more digital and the ordered products will be simply printed in our homes. It's nice .... imagine that instead of giving a broken TV remote control or pad for Your console, to the service or buying a new one – you will visit the manufacturer's website, where you download the file that can be printed, or even better, the manufacturer gives you the option to choose or unify - the remote control, or game pad, which you print yourself. Nice? As for me, Great.

Imagine…………. that in the future you will not be limited by the fact that you have to buy something, you will be able to print it at your 3D printer. And this is really important….Knowing how to print will become common and available to everyone.

Such a thing can already be afforded by those who work with 3d printing and know it perfectly. In the future, 3D printing will be like riding a bicycle, or maybe……… like driving a car in some cases (with special licenses) . The ability to print will be something normal and a 3D printer will find its place in every home like nowadays a 2D printer or a copier or a scanner. With such widespread use, knowledge and awareness - each of us will be a "creator" of our surroundings. Every material thing that we imagine we can design and print. Whether it's for our convenience, a need of the moment or a gift - a 3D printer will do it for us. We will have technical and technological knowledge that will allow us to create the world on a different level. It will be wonderful to live in a world where each of us will have something different, something of our own and the only limitation will be our imagination ... wow ... imagine that in the future you will have the knowledge how to design and print, for example, a pot with a self-irrigating or self-filling system a tray of peanuts with a holder for your beer?? - and you will be able to make it real in a few hours - something I need now, today… wow! For me… real Wow!

?This is something Really BIG. I can see this because the imagination that I have is HUGE! There is still a large part of society that feels best at home. Number The so-called Householders - that is a Person who best "charge the batteries" in their own 4 walls is constantly growing. For these people, every change, even going on vacation - is difficult in the first days - not to mention when we have to move out of "our place" for a long time. 3D printing will give you something unimaginable and will be able to alleviate or eliminate discomfort. Imagine a situation where, taking only the most necessary things to a new location - we will have "Your" furniture, your belongings there - everything that "our home" used to have will be in "our new home". Our old room will be the same as in our new home - without having to make a big move. I imagine that in extreme situations, even during the holidays, we can order "our room" in a new place - our room, which will be 100% similar to the well-known one – just through 3D printing. In addition to the typical psychological dimension, it will be a revolution in removals and will change industries completely, and transform us into "freer" and more mobile people - simply citizens of the world or even universe. Because remember that in the future, the move does not have to concern only our planet. I am already waiting ... and I imagine that when I go on vacation I do not take large suitcases packed with my things - I only order some of them on the spot and they are printed there. Great…. I am waiting for this!

Reflecting on the whole thing, many of you may seem unattainable, unreal. Many of these things are a big challenge for those who are currently operating in the 3D world and will still be a barrier for some time. Being in the world of additive technology for almost 3 years - I know how fast this world is moving forward. It is clear that we need the proper distribution of knowledge, but when we reach full capacity, and we reach the use of 3D printers, digitization and maximization of creativity - the world will be different ... more Ours, created by each of us individually ... I already want to be there.
