Imagine taking care of 400 kids

Imagine having 400+ kids to care for and plan futures for. Even if you are an avowed fan of kids—that’s a huge undertaking. Not to mention, extremely costly.
?
Now imagine that these more than 400 kids are at-risk due to emotional, behavioral and learning challenges. And that the state they live in (California) provides sparse funds for youth mental health treatment so you have to rely on the generosity of your friends, family and community to provide funding for their care.
?
That’s what local nonprofit New Haven Youth and Family Services does every year (20,000 kids helped since 1967!) They transform the lives of hundreds of at-risk youth throughout Southern California through mental health programs, Therapeutic Behavioral Services, transitional living support, daily student curriculum, and a 24/7 residential treatment program in multiple residences throughout North County San Diego – all supported by donations.
?
Since 2009, I have been blessed to serve on the 55-year-old?Board of Directors for New Haven. I’ve observed first-hand the world class team, facilities and methodology produce highly successful outcomes. That’s why I am driven to help them, and I hope by the time you finish reading this, you will be too.
?
New Haven applied to the Century Club’s Champions for Youth program, who vetted and selected New Haven as one of six charities competing for the VERY generous Farmer’s Insurance charitable matching program based around their Farmer’s Insurance Open PGA Tour golf tournament at Torrey Pines being held Jan 26-29.
?
What this means is that Farmers will match a percentage of funds raised from a pool of $285,000—with special “kickers” for the most individual donors giving $10 or more and those who raise the highest dollar amount overall. It’s a friendly competition among those who are lending their time to fundraise.
?
Needless to say, I would like to come out on top so that New Haven gets a nice slice of that Farmer’s pie, and I need your help.
?
So I ask you to please, in this time of gratitude and togetherness, make a donation here: https://charity.centuryclubsd.org/fundraiser/3575868 .
?
Even a $10 donation counts! So don’t worry if that’s all you can give. It means so much.

Here’s some info if you’d like to learn more—but please come back when you are done and click the donation link above!

—> Campaign Timeline: NOW to Jan 30th, 2022 (end of the Farmer’s Open)
?
—> Campaign Fundraising Goal: $125,000 total 100% of funds raised and bonus funds gifted will benefit at-risk youth in San Diego
?
?
ONE MORE THING: The Century Club will even be covering all credit card fees—so New Haven will get 100% of the funds you donate. Compounded with the bonus funds from Farmer’s, you’ll grow the power of your giving. Last year, donations grew nearly 45% because of the bonus pool, meaning that if a donor gave $10, the organization received approximately $15.

If you can't donate, please consider forwarding this to your friends and
family to get the word out.
