I'm thrilled to see...
the launch of the new Level 3 Apprenticeship for the recruitment industry. This is a significant step forward in providing structured, practical training for individuals looking to build successful careers in recruitment.
In the past, recruitment was always seen as something you fell into, something you did if you couldn't find another job.
This perception was particularly prevalent among younger generations. However, the introduction of apprenticeships like this one has the potential to change that narrative.
By offering apprenticeships, we can showcase the exciting and rewarding opportunities that exist within the recruitment industry. These programs provide a clear pathway into the profession, allowing individuals to gain valuable skills and knowledge from day one.
I believe that this new apprenticeship will have a profound impact on the industry. It will help to attract and retain top talent, ensuring that we have a pipeline of skilled recruiters to meet the evolving needs of businesses. Additionally, it will contribute to raising the overall professionalism and standards of the recruitment sector.
I'm excited to see how this apprenticeship develops and the positive impact it will have on the future of recruitment.

5 个月I completely agree about recruitment being an industry you fall into. It is too often overlooked how much skill there actually is to this industry - especially when it comes to being known as 'one of the good' recruiters! ????♀? Saying, that, I think there is also soo much to learn about this industry which has to be on the job and from experience, so it will be interesting to see how this translates to the theory for the qualification!

5 个月Great point Bill about recruitment being something to fall in to when they leave school. In my day (??) every one was just getting jobs at estate agents so its great to see the industry recognised by the government ??
