I'm still learning, but...

I'm still learning, but...

What I can tell you is this:

There will be highs and lows in your life, when you're high, you won't recognize it, and when you're low, you'll feel like it’s never going to pass.

The trick is to appreciate the little things, so you won’t miss them, and keep moving forward during the tough times. All things shall pass, and time moves on.

Learn how to evolve, constantly, and fluidly. The only way to stay relevant is to never get comfortable with the norm. If you aren't a little uneasy with something you're trying, you aren't changing fast enough.

Find a tribe that supports you, this can be personally, or professionally, or even the most preferable...both. The more your career grows the lonelier it can get without people you truly trust, to have your back and vice versa.

It's not about you! We are all too worried about what people think of us, or why people do what they do. The reality is, it's not about us, and the more we concern ourselves with the opinions of others, the less of our authentic selves, we are.

That being said, the next is...

Be obsessed with self-accountability and self-improvement. You are not perfect, that's ok. But always look to yourself for the answer before you blame anyone around you.

Never let someone dictate who you are or what you are capable of becoming. Visualize your goal, no matter how far-fetched it may seem, and work daily towards it. You will find that over time, it's not so crazy after all.

There is no magic fix to life, no exercise program, pill, or book. Just us perfectly imperfect individuals going through it together. Be kind to others, they all have a story we can't begin to understand. But most importantly be kind to yourself. You're doing the best you can.
