I'm Steel Standing!

It’s been 23 days since you went to heaven. You were my biggest inspiration, and influencer that taught me the value of integrity, dignity, and to uphold ethical standards. You not only taught me but showed me the principles and standards of a gentleman! The difference between quality and quantity! Not only did you serve in World War 2, but you were a leader for World War 2! I’m here today, remembering our time together!

I remember when you asked me, “If I knew what the Statue of Liberty stood for?” I said, “It was a gift from France to America.” I remember you telling me, “just like you; how to embrace unity, and liberty for it opens opportunities.” I remember one evening you lighting the candle for my grandmother (your wife), and I said, “Grandpa do you know how much you spend to burn a candle every night for Grandma?” I remember and tell many about this memory. You replied, “If I could get her back, I would burn every dollar.” I will never forget the wisdom you passed along to me, for I am forever grateful.

I have many gentlemen in my life Grandpa, just like you! I received a box full of gifts today! Hats and shirts from three gentlemans! Anthony Whitaker, Steve Gold, and Kevin Fowler! This box that was delivered Grandpa means a lot to me! As it holds many principles, values, and feelings of receiving! Grandpa! Say it one more time, “Is that my girlfriend; I know cause of that smile on your face!”
