I'm Starting A Movement...Join Me?

I help freelancers, entrepreneurs, and agencies build and grow successful businesses with WordPress. Entrepreneur, Attorney, WordPress Strategist & Marketing Automation Expert
One of the things I do professionally is to write software, including the LaunchFlows plugin.
Recently I read several posts by a successful entrepreneur I follow here on LinkedIn named Justin Welsh , where he teaches tens of thousands of folks how to both "own and control" their own livelihood...but to do it by using simple SaaS tools.
I LOVE those posts. But when I read them, I also know that there are also ways to accomplish the same simple MVP-style testing...but with the benefit of owning and controlling the "engine" from day one (read on as to why that's a big deal).
Back to my story...
When I first created the plugin, it was in response to a need for a "feature" of WordPress that helped WooCommerce (the transactional engine) to accomplish things that nearly every business owner or marketer needs.
At that time, people questioned why I didn't want to build a complex "framework" plugin, with all the bells and whistles and custom post type and graphical drag and drop interface, etc.
I said then that I had a "vision" of WordPress as a Service (Waas), where anyone (business owner, freelancer, agency owner, enterprise) could own and control a complete "engine" for running their business vs. paying to "rent" it from a SaaS company.
Why?
Because in my earliest days of Technology, I saw what happens when a VC funded SaaS company can unilaterally decide to "change its mind" and cut off any of its customers from their businesses and clients.
It's horrible. But it happens all the time. And it is still happening (17 years later) more than ever before.
With a WordPress "engine", anyone can have a ready to use system, curated with the features they need, to do just what every online business needs...regardless of how you send traffic to the site.
In other words, even if you market your products on a social media ad, or video or Etsy, etc., you can just send folks directly to your WP "engine" built on LaunchFlows and a few other curated components, to manage the immediate and satisfying journey through your sales funnel.
And none of this requires complexity, high cost or being married to multiple WP plugin/theme authors.
Back to my story about LaunchFlows...
So this video shows, really well I think, how one can use just two plugins, LaunchFlows & WooCommerce, to have a WP (owned and controlled) "engine" that allows the instant creation of bundles of ANY product, and a link that sends folks into a specific tabbed checkout sequence (using the Kadence Theme and Blocks) or anywhere on the page.

Anyone who buys with this instant product bundle link method will also be registered and logged-in (if you wish), added to the CRM, given access to digital content that is protected, and have any number of automated follow ups. Likewise, any affiliates can be credited for the onboarding of and sale to this customer.
Up until now, LaunchFlows has been a plugin only...and a very powerful one for the price and simplicity and lightweight. It does most everything all the other competitors have done...but leaves out everything you don't need or want if you follow my philosophy stated above.
This year, I'm making LaunchFlows into a ready-to-use solution model, combined with a few other plugins referenced above, so that anyone can have an "engine" for themselves or their clients, with everything curated and set up and hosted for optimization and low cost.
I will also be paying a 25% lifetime referral fee to anyone who uses it for their client solutions.
This means that you or your client could use this, along with my company's expertise in marketing automation, sales funnels, selling (from over 40k clients/students) to just GET IT DONE without all the "fuss" of trying to reinvent or tinker at the WordPress "flea market".
Starting as low as $29/mo, one can essentially have all of the power or features of a SaaS (like a ConvertKit, HubSpot, ClickFunnels, Shopify, etc.), but owned and controlled by you or your client, and supported and grown by myself, my team, and my other developer friends and partners whom you've come to know so well all these years.
My goal is demonstrate for the community that a real WaaS business can be created by the folks who have thus far created plugins/themes for WP...but this time by offering the end-solution in a ready to use format, so it can be used to sell/market anything...without getting into a "gilded cage" of a SaaS.
With my offerings, as I've done for 17 years, you have no contracts, no restrictions or lock-in, the sites can be removed and migrated at any time. It's not about trying to trick anyone, control anyone, or lock anyone in. It's about FREEDOM. Not as in "free beer"...but as in "common sense" and what real human beings want/need in a world of feeling like no one is listening to their needs.
I also want to point out that this model will help me to help the thousands of smart and energetic freelancers who are not currently situated in the USA or with a previous business history.
By offering a way for them to send clients to this system, where we can manage the financials for their clients (ie: it's HARD for someone overseas outside western europe to take money from a client via credit cards, but it's not hard for us to do it as part of the referral system), we can open up amazing opportunities to let talented people THRIVE and build their own businesses.
Even if one is not a WP person, but say is talented in creating Sales Page designs that are created with another tool like Canva, you can easily see how one could sell your designs directly (or on Etsy, etc.) and then connect those clients to this LaunchFlows ready-to-use "engine" for a low monthly cost.
I'm really interested in making this a "movement" and not something limited to just my own company. As such, if you are in any way interested as a freelancer, WordPress expert, developer, marketer, influencer, or just feel like we have a connection on this...I'd love to hear from you at my email [email protected]
Till then, thanks for listening!
