It's all about the Law of Reciprocity. When someone does something positive for you, it feels good – and importantly, it makes you want to do something in return. It's a great way of winning the trust of your clients and contacts, and growing your business the right way – by building sustainable relationships using LinkedIn based on mutual support and understanding.
I want my connections and followers to feel good about being connected to me. Over the years, I've built trust by providing valuable content, advice and offers, and in return, my network has reciprocated by referring me to their contacts, and in some cases by engaging my services.
You can learn more about how the Law of Reciprocity could help you to get the most out of LinkedIn by following this link to read the blog article I've written on my website.
