I'm really good at my expertise but not so good at building a business.

I’m really good at my expertise but not so good at building a business.

A lot of wellness professionals I talk to find themselves too busy with servicing their clients to ever learn how to get more leads.

The reason most people, start a business is because of their passion to help other people.

However most of them were never taught what it takes to actually run that business.

Weekly sales calls.

Daily lead gen.

Weekly content and marketing planning.

Hiring and leading a team.

The list is endless, and if you are a CEO, you know.

And when you don’t know how to operate these parts of your business you end up..

Frustrated with yourself

Burnt out and now hating your business.

Overwhelmed by yet another area of your business that needs fixing.

Trying to wear all of the hats that you never tried on before.

We get so “busy” with the business side of our passion that we end up losing excitement and the love we had when we originally started the business.

Do you remember the days when you said..

“I would do it for free if I could.”

Because for most of us, we do it for free when we start because we love it that much..

But now that that passion is gone you find yourself saying..?

“I don’t even know what to do in my life.”

So maybe you will start a new business, try something else.

But if I can be honest with you, you will ultimately start the same cycle you found yourself in in this business.

I like to call this the dysfunctional business owner.

The person who loses their passion, no longer leading in their business, hiding from their employees, and clients.

Now.. a Jack of all trades, and a master of none.

I hear of this happening every single day.

Business owners who give up everything because they didn’t know how to be a CEO who leads, delegates and keeps the passion side of their business sacred and apparent.

I have been a entrepreneur for over 14 years, and although I still learn something new every single day, here is what I can give you after leaving multiple businesses until I figured out how to keep my passion and lead as the CEO of my business and more importantly the CEO of my life.

1. Redefine your craft.

2. Learn what it takes to be a CEO.

3. DELEGATE. Anything and everything that is not equivalent to what your time is worth.

4. Be able to lead a team (which starts with being able to lead yourself)

Why did you start your business, and what is it going to take for you to lead it?
