"I'm Proud of You, Momma"

It has been such a rollercoaster since I began the journey with the multi-author book. Brainstorming. Writing. Rewriting. Editing. Swapping. Waiting. Receiving. Publishing. Sharing.

There have been so many wonderful reviews of the book, and I am happy and proud of my contribution to this best-selling multi-author book.

Last night, we celebrated with a book launch and benefit event for Central Texas Table of Grace . Eight authors were in attendance, and we each shared a bit about our message in the book. It was a gift to meet and hug my fellow authors, and it was a dream to talk with people who told me my chapter really resonated with them.

Most of all, having my family and best friend Amy there was so special. Looking out into the audience and seeing them smiling, waving, or winking at me and listening to me and my fellow authors lifted me to the highest heights.

And even with all the 54+ positive reviews and bestselling in 7 categories, the most powerful praise I have received came in five little words whispered from my oldest: "I'm proud of you, Momma."

Thanks to all who came out last night to support our book, to everyone who bought and reviewed it, and to YOU for your encouragement as I shared a part of my story.
