I'm a #nt what ever that is?

I received this lovely post last night from the LinkedIn police.

Now I would like to think I'm usually quite a nice guy and I live and let live. I've had insults and derogitary comments before but this one has really got my goat.

I like to speak with different people on here some professionally and some personally. As we all know by now social selling can be can be great if done correctly. I have often got leads from friends and professional contacts alike.

This was a fairly innocent conversation about what our favourite chocolate bar is which has taken off into a tournament of champions thanks to Andy Burton. I do want to make 1 thing clear I never stand for bullies and I never swear or stoop to personal insults on social media. Dont get me wrong being 'on the tools' for 15 years I can swear like a sailor but it's just a line I don't tend to cross on LinkedIn.

If I don't agree with a post I'll just keep scrolling or occasionally remove and block that user if it's offensive. However I don't waste my time or energy trying to bully them them into my point of view. I'll admit I called this guy a 'sad little man' and also ointed out the more he commented the he would inevitably see the post so why bother?

Yes I made spelling mistakes as I typed some responses from the x-trainer in my gym so my have been a bit pre-occupied with other things like 'not passing out' or remembering to drink water. I just thought how can you tell someone to be professional then resort to personal insults the next? Is that a professional thing to do? I thought it was schoolground behaviour.

I was thinking to delete and forget but then I thought #whatwouldwinnetdo? See what I did there Mike? So i thought this guy needs exposing so here you go in all it's glory. I'm afraid the rest of the thread was deleted before I managed to screen shot it but I'll be happy to discuss it if anyone wants to DM me.

I'll also agree to remove the post once I have an apology. In the meantime I'm a #nt and proud. Feel free to tag this guy and his customers so they see what the power of social media can actually do.

Posts like these should not be needed. Its social media...people across the globe see your content and comments. That in itself should make you think about the choice of wording. I guess trolls just don't care what people think of them and have the "im so cool look a me being a d%=#$" your posts reflect who you are. Lets keep linkedin positive and not full of facebook trolls.

Microsoft had an operating system called Windows NT at one point. Do you think he could be O/S shaming you?
