I'M INTIMIDATED; NO MORE!

I'M INTIMIDATED; NO MORE!

"Je tiens a' mon imperfection comme a' ma raison d’e“tre."
(I hold on to my imperfection as tightly as my reason for
being.)1894 Le Jardin d'Ep.

Today, I'd like to sound a bit philosophical and welcome you to an intellectual discourse. My French could be better than my German, though I'd soothe my linguistic cravings with Spanish.

Yes! Sometimes, you have to understand something. If not, just read and let the words sink in. Their sense might one day awaken in your thoughts. This is how I hold onto my imperfection, that in the identity of things, I don't have to know everything.

I normally say to no one but myself, "I know you don't have to know everything when it comes to the knowledge of things, but at least in everything, try to grasp something." Those words always come alive when I walk into a new space.

?I will have to learn at least something for each thing. Was it my first time on the radio? Forget about going on air. That's another thing that happened, but I work in a media landscape. Careers have a way of toning us down that class work is only sometimes enough; no matter how good your teacher or school, you'll always get to learn. Sometimes, I'll unlearn what you've learned.

Devising your own beliefs at times helps. Playing low and never letting your pride blow your own trumpet saves a lot. I am that lot that may seem unbothered for obvious reasons in hard situations. Workplace drama is everywhere. One thing I'd rather not entertain is to be looked down upon. Some people will and always want you to feel intimidated.

You can advise your fellows only to work there if you'd recommend them. Why feel intimidated? Your human imperfection is an inherent part of your being. I tell myself, "Boy! It's a" right, not a privilege." Let them intimidate you, but you shouldn't allow them have you as ignorant.

Friends also have a funny way to intimidate us. They will induce inferiority complex and your esteem will go down. I have friends who'll prove to you that the inventors thought of them when the finer things were being made. With them you'll feel tiny -an iota in some spaces. It never goes well.

Is it that they can't teach but make you feel degraded? This trait plays as a turn off. If you're the waitress of anger, the kind that pays back knowing revenge is a dish served cool, then I know such friends would never repeat, i.e., are imperfect, keep your perfection to yourself! It's either you teach me or leave it, I'll look for a better Place-Google is my friend.

Imperfect people are beings I believe to be amazing. They have mistaken, flaws, and weaknesses but still trust the growth of being excellent. The high school I went to always made us believe in the spirit of excellence saying, "We are excellent people!" So do I live to believe. As you kick start the week, hold on to your imperfection, let no one intimidate you.

Amazing people are just like you-imperfect.
