Our client, a reputable international bank located in the heart of City of London, is looking for a Korean speaking Junior Banker - Compliance.

[Main purpose of the job]

The role will include various duties in relation to Compliance. The role will assist the bank’s Head of Compliance & MLRO in ensuring that the bank meets its UK legal and regulatory requirements.

[Key Responsibilities]

(1) Reporting: Help prepare compliance reports for internal(the bank and HQ) and external stakeholders(External Auditors and/or regulators and Law enforcement).

(2) Training Support: Support the development and delivery of compliance training programs for employees.

(3) Assist in the preparation and submission of compliance reports.

(4) Support and assist Senior Compliance Officers in discharging their responsibilities as and when requested

(5) Assist the Compliance Team in conducting QC reviews on 1 LOD activities and in conducting thematic reviews.

(6) Assist Head of Compliance & MLRO in collating required information on a regular basis on Compliance and Financial Crime Controls.

(7) Liaise with the Team for conducting Compliance Monitoring of Calls and Trade via Bloomberg

(8) Review KYC of Clients and Financial Institutions, Transaction Monitoring and Sanctions Alert release.

[Requirements]

(1) Must be fluent in both Korean & English

(2) Must have relevant experience in compliance/banking/legal or degree in law/finance/banking/management if fresh graduate

(3) Attention to detail with excellent numerical skills

(4) Must have excellent MS Office skills

(5) Excellent communication & inter-personal skills

[Conditions]

(1) Location: City of London (Bank area)

(2) Working hours: 8:30am~4:30pm

(3) Annual leave: 23 working days in the first full calendar year and thereafter increased by one day per year into maximum of 28 working days (excluding 8 Bank/Public Holidays)

(4) Basic salary: 30K for fresh graduate & up to 35K for those with relevant work experience
