I’m having a hot moment

Morning,

If you’ve ever wrote an article and clenched, you’ll know how I’m feeling right now.

That gut clawing feeling of hope and apprehension mixing as one. It has to be done, but how will it be received?

What am I talking about?

That’s right, I dropped the ball on helping the people who had signed up to hear sales tips and advice from me, and now I’m ready to pick it up again, I wonder how you will react to it.

In reality, I know you probably don’t care. Your level of emotion about the situation is mediocre at best. It’s just not that important to you.

But my perception of your reaction has held me back from reaching out. Something I made up in my head prevented me from moving forward.

And that got me thinking. How often does fear stop us from moving forward in and making our business better? What do we?not?do because of what others might think?

Lack of confidence is a real killer for many an idea, preventing you from taking action and reaching the goals that you set.

But without action, how do you build confidence? How do you beat the demons and take back control.

You don’t.

Hopefully you’ve read it and maybe even thought about an action that you’re putting off because some fear is holding you back.

It doesn’t matter what the action is, if you don’t do it, you can’t make gains from it.

So as Nike so eloquently put it, just do it.

It’ll never be as bad as you think, and who knows where it might lead.

You might even get someone reaching out and letting you know you did OK (hint, hint!).
