I’m Having Dinner With Ed Sheeran!
I recently was watching “Ed Sheeran: The Sum Of It All”, a documentary that dives deep into the life of the superstar musician Ed Sheeran on his latest tour. It gives amazing insight into the man, who in my opinion, is one of the greatest musicians of all time. Having gone to his concert at Adelaide Oval in 2023, I have developed a great appreciation for how talented this ginger-haired man is. Being a fellow ginger myself, I’ve always felt like I could relate to him on some level, but after watching his documentary, I’ve now developed a full on man crush.?
While watching the documentary, I mentioned to Soraya that if there was anyone in the world who I’d love to have dinner with, Ed would be right up there. Just such a relatable, down-to-earth kind of guy who I think would just be great to be around. During the documentary, Ed also mentions that he’s big on ‘speaking things into existence.’ He speaks about how he always knew that he was going to make it big and he would constantly tell the people around him, not in an arrogant way, but in a ‘I’m willing to do whatever it takes’ kind of way. I instantly resonated with the statement of speaking things into existence and so I immediately turned to Soraya and said, “We are going to have dinner with Ed Sheeran one day!”
While we haven’t got a date yet and it’s extremely unlikely that he even knows who I am, I believe that by saying out loud the things you want, that there is a greater chance of them coming true. Call it manifesting or whatever you like, but by speaking something out loud you’ve put it out to the world that you want it to happen which can lead to a few things:

I know that at times it can be hard to express what we want or maybe we feel embarrassed by the goals that we have. Someone might say that we’ll never achieve it or even laugh at us. But what I want you to realise is, that in order to achieve amazing things in life, we’ve got to put ourselves out there, be okay with failing and having others laugh at us. Those people who are laughing at you or being keyboard warriors are only doing it because they are too afraid to put themselves out there and find comfort in trying to drag others back down.
I decided a number of years ago that I didn’t want to live an average life. I want to live an extraordinary life with amazing experiences, amazing people and be able to impact others in a positive way. In order to do this I’ve had to get over a number of fears - speaking on camera, writing and posting it for the world to read, working with large groups of people and taking on a leadership role. I’ve had many people make comments or think I’m a bit crazy but the majority of the feedback has been positive.
So, here is my challenge to you. Put something out into the world that you want to do, no matter how big or small. Comment it on the bottom of this post, share it alongside the link to this post or simply tell it to one other person. Feel free to send me an email putting yourself out there and speaking things into reality - [email protected]
Oh, and if you do know Ed, if you could connect us that would be great. Or simply just send him this post and he can email me. Cheers.

Wow, that sounds like an unforgettable dinner date! ?? As Steve Jobs once said, "The ones who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do." Your creativity in making this happen is truly inspiring! Keep shining. ?
