I'm Not The Gymshark CEO Anymore | Business Vlog - Ben Francis

My first article received a ton of positive feed back, so after finishing my next Youtube video (above) I've decided to write another one, focussing a little more on the business side, as I feel that better suits you LinkedIn readers.

This video I feel can be summarised on a single phrase. Self awareness. This is something that was largely taught to me by my business partners, Paul Richardson and Steve Hewitt.

As a young business owner, particularly of such a fast growing business, it's easy to get caught up in every thing that goes on. The small things. The things that you shouldn't be focussing on. It was Paul and Steve who are my two biggest mentors and have helped shape who I am today.

Given their expertise on running the business and particularly the back end, it has allowed me to specialise my role on what I'm best at, and enjoy. These are what I deem as the special areas of Gymshark, and the areas that make us unique, and will take us to our goal of being the greatest brand in the world.

My role is now focussed on four main areas (not including my responsibilities as an owner and director). These areas are product, brand, creative and innovation.

This video will give you a brief insight into my role, my working week, and a glimpse of some of the inner workings of my beloved Gymshark.
