So, quick story time: I was in a meeting recently talking about generational differences when someone straight-up assumed I was Gen Z. GEN Z, y’all! I had to laugh and be like, “Sis, I’m 45!” The shock on their faces was priceless. Guess the skincare’s been working overtime, huh? ??

But let’s get to the real tea. I’m excited (and still a little in shock myself) to announce that my agency, Analog Girl Group, just landed its first major production contract with Rolling Stone! Yes, that Rolling Stone!

Rolling Stone partnered with Audible to promote The Wonder of Stevie, Stevie Wonder’s first-ever biography. This custom-branded partnership drives listenership by aligning with Rolling Stone’s status as a legacy music partner, making sure Stevie’s story reaches listeners of all ages. And guess who was running the show? Ya girl. ????

I led the whole production team, handled talent relations, and managed all the budgeting, invoicing, and payments for vendors and talent. Let me tell you, this time around, I felt like I finally had my agency-owner stride. I wasn’t just trying to make things happen—I made them happen.

In a job market that’s more unpredictable than a season of Love & Hip Hop, I’ve learned how important it is to pivot and trust yourself. Whether you’re just starting out or leveling up, don’t let the uncertainty stop you from making big moves.
