I'm Feeling Healthy: Clinical Search Engine to Improve Patient Outcomes

?? Have you tried drinking from a firehose? How about one from which the flow of water only increases in speed and volume?

Personally, we haven’t, but we assume that it’s rather difficult to do so. Unfortunately, this metaphor genuinely represents that sheer amount of information that physicians are required to know and to keep up to date with in the context of modern medicine.

Great tools such as Wolters Kluwer s' UpToDate exist - with these point-of-care information systems, physicians can now access diagnostic, prognostic, and treatment information when and how they need it. However, even these tools are limited in the rate at which their information is updated and the efficiency with which they can provide physicians with the information that they need to make a quick and timely diagnosis.

Dr. Keith Tsui and the team at Medwise.ai know that they can make a difference in this arena.

Instead of providing a one-size-fits all information solution which may often clash with local practice guidelines, Medwise.ai empowers healthcare professionals by providing up-to-date, locally-customizable information in the palm of their hand.

In reality, this means going to one app for information on how to manage a patient, instead of going to an app then realizing that you still need to do a literature search and to toggle through several other apps in order to reach the most up-to-date local treatment guidelines on long-COVID.

What’s the founding story behind Medwise.ai? How did Keith’s experience as a product manager with Huma and a management consultant with CF affect his thinking as the CEO and co-founder of Medwise.ai?
