I'm a Christian. I'm a Woman. I'm a Millennial Conservative Working on Capitol Hill. I'm Voting for Donald Trump.
Kelsie Wendelberger
Global Strategist. Servant Leader. Risk Taker. Diplomat. Let's connect and transform the world together!
A good candidate with flaws.
Why am I voting for Donald J. Trump? As a Christian, how can I vote for Donald Trump? As a woman, how can I vote for Donald Trump?
Supreme Court (This isn't just about the next 4 years - this is about the next generation!). Religious Liberty. Sanctity of Human Life. National Security. Peace Through Strength. Foreign Policy. Free markets. Limited Government. Entrepreneurship. Equality. Leadership. School Choice and Higher Education Standards. Sustainable Job Creation. Better Healthcare Options. Energy Independence. Addressing the Root of Problems (such as refugee crisis) Rather than Just Reacting with Short-Term Solutions.
Friends, we in the United States live in a two-party system. That is the reality. A vote not for Donald Trump is a vote for Hillary Clinton, and vice-versa. Donald Trump is not a racist. He is not a sexist. He treats women equally in the workforce (while admittedly he has said foolish things in the past). He is curious, savvy, quick to learn and eager to make a difference. He is a loose cannon, but thankfully has strong, prudent people advising him.
Don't get your information from tweets and mainstream media. Take the time to research: I encourage you to read Donald Trump's policy stances for yourself: https://www.donaldjtrump.com/policies/
A lot of friends of faith have asked me, from a standpoint of morality, who do I vote for? Friends, in this cycle, if you don't feel comfortable voting for the PERSON, vote for the POLICIES you most align with. Please, read into the policy stances of the candidates. Pray for the future of our country, and remember all of the flawed individuals God has used throughout history (and continues to) to accomplish His will:
- Abraham -Was old.
- Elijah – Was suicidal.
- Joseph – Was abused.
- Job – Went bankrupt.
- Moses – Had a speech problem.
- Gideon – Was afraid.
- Samson – Was a womanizer.
- Rahab – Was a prostitute.
- Samaritan Woman – Divorced.
- Noah – Was a Drunk.
- Jeremiah – Was young.
- Jacob – Was a cheater.
- David – Was a murderer.
- Jonah – Ran from God.
- Peter – Denied Christ three times
- Martha – Worried about everything.
- Zacchaeus – Was small and money hungry.
- The Disciples – Fell asleep while praying.
- Paul – A Pharisee who persecuted Christians before becoming one.
