I'm Becoming Mr Angry

I know I’m knocking on in years so I guess my patience is not what it was, and I would like to think I’m likely sceptical not cynical, so I have seen and heard lots of things repeated, come back into fashion, raised as a great idea all of which have been done before in one way or another, but I’m not purposefully looking to criticise. However, all that said, I have about had it with the politicians, local authorities, government paid scientists, the press, media, and so-called journalists. Why on earth can they not stop talking gibberish and talk fact not hyped up nonsense that none of us mere mortals can understand (or is it just me) please can someone tell me what is factually going on with the Covid-19 virus.

I have been watching Dr. John Campbell on You Tube for the duration of the pandemic and it seems to me he talks more logical sense than all the politicians and media put together. Let me be honest I don’t think he is a dynamic presenter, in fact he now even gives you a roundup of his video at the start in case you switch off before the end. However, I can at least extrapolate some conclusions from his ramblings. Talking about ramblings what’s going on with the weather forecasts these days, I think I would do better asking my little pet Labrador. I’m told the accuracy of the forecast has been affected by the lack of planes in the air giving quality data, “really”

I guess I’m showing my age now but anyone of certain years will remember the Steve Wright radio show and Mr Angry from Purley, well I’m not from that neck of the woods, but I sure am angry

I have a great idea, note I did not say new idea, a clear honest communications standard and if it’s already been done then forgive me but we have over 94,000 standards on our online standards portal, so I may have missed this one.

Imagine this, a set of clear instructions on how to send an honest, clear, unambiguous message to normal folks, what a wonderous thing this would be. Better still as with any standard it’s your choice if you decide to sign up and adhere to it. I wonder how many of them media folk would dare sign up to such an undertaking?
