Due to the overwhelming success of the last mapping post here is another mapping exercise.  This time we are using the shaded mapping visual to color an entire state based on population growth.  

I'd also like to point out we are going to get data from the web via Wikipedia.  This tutorial explains how to load data from a web page and can be extremely useful especially if you are getting data sources which are publicly available.
