I'm All In...
A memory popped up on my social media feed and this was the photo. Immediately, I remembered several details about the day and the exact moment. I was about to take the stage with my friend Mike Walrond, Senior Pastor, First Corinthian Baptist Church in New York to talk about my latest book, Mosaic Genius Building Beautiful Things with Broken Pieces.
Before I headed out this photo was snapped and the message on the wall struck me then and struck me today. I’m All In is a complete statement.
Our country needs the best of us now more than ever before; especially the most vulnerable. I must confess a couple of weeks ago, the weight of our current reality had me despondent. I dragged myself out of bed to practice yoga and read to hear from those before us who have faced challenging times and come out better on the other side. My hope has been renewed to continue.
Today, I want to share our impact report with you. I hope it inspires you to keep going. Nearly, nine years ago when I set out on this journey to bridge social impact and wealth building. I had very little guidance but lots of faith and some mentors. I had no idea what would happen but I was willing to give it my best effort.
