I'm Not Afraid to Die.

Last year I kept saying I had this feeling something big was going to happen that would shift the world. I could just feel it. I shared these thoughts with a select group of friends who also said they had the same feeling.
For several years myself, along with other strong and noble warriors have been attempting to shift workplace culture, transform lives and raise the collective consciousness. It’s been tiring, frustrating and rewarding all at once. Many of us went through our own transformations in order to prepare for this time. That is why I can state without a doubt that I have no fear. If I died tomorrow, I would be content. Can you say the same?
I also am not scared of others dying. Yes. Even loved ones. That’s not to say I wouldn’t be sad or miss them. I just feel like death is a natural part of life, regardless of how or when it happens.
It’s interesting how the human species must be forced into chaos in order to change, transform or revolutionize. All the solutions to our problems have been here waiting for us. There are several organizations and consultants prepared to help businesses shift and improve their workplace culture. The statistics are undeniable at this point with regards to burnout and mental illness directly related to work, as it’s clearly stated in Jeffrey Pfeffer’s book, “Dying for a Paycheck.” We hear people preach about it all day long, every day on social media. Yet, people continue in their hamster wheel.
Why? Because they don’t believe that things can change. They don’t believe in themselves. OR Something bad enough hasn’t happened to force them to change.
While panic breaks out because of a virus, people don’t even realize they have already been killing themselves slowly with stress, overworking, high blood pressure, eating unhealthy food or using some sort of substance to mask their pain.
I posted a quote recently by Pema Ch?dr?n, whom I highly recommend you check out. She wrote the book, “When Things Fall Apart: Heart Advice During Difficult Times.”
"Nothing ever goes away until it has taught us what we need to know."
-Pema Ch?dr?n
Does it get frustrating when you feel like you keep attracting the same exact circumstances into your life? You don’t understand why. You think that you are changing. Maybe you are even trying everything you can to change. Yet, you can never get ahead?
I know how this feels. For years, after my burnout, I searched high and low. I spent several thousands of dollars. It wasn’t until I read one of Dr. Joe Dispenza’s books, “Breaking the Habit of Being Myself.” That I realized it wasn’t really all my fault. It was MY RESPONSIBILITY to keep evolving but, not my fault. You see 95% of what we do is subconscious by the age of 35. Our DNA structure, genes and how we act can even be influenced and passed down from our ancestors from thousands of years ago.
I’m here writing this article for you right now because this is your opportunity to make the change you have been thinking or talking about, but have had too much fear to take action.
You have the choice to panic, or to pave a new way. If you are living here on this Earth miserable, in my mind you are already dead. It’s hell on Earth. Allow the old you to die, and don’t be scared.
Everyone is talking about unknowns and uncertainty but, what I’ve found is that NOTHING will ever be certain and things are always changing whether we know it or not. So, you might as well teach yourself to be comfortable in this state, rather than worried. Worry will only bring you….MORE WORRY.
Your days look different now.
Maybe more chaotic initially, but as I stated above humans tend to do their best under pressure and when they have no other choice.
Over the next couple of weeks, I want you to notice how it feels to….
Not to have to worry about what you have to wear each day.
Not to worry about co-workers or bosses that are causing you stress.
Not have a commute to work and deal with horrible traffic.
Being in the presence of the people you love more.
Working as a team with your partner to figure out how to work and watch over the kids at the same time.
Living life outside of the hamster wheel.
Take the time to seriously reflect. To write about how you feel. To have conversations with loved ones about the feelings you are having.
I always hear the excuse…."There isn’t enough time."
This may still be relevant, however, if you have been waiting for a sign, HERE IT IS.
Stop waiting.
Stop wondering.
Stop allowing it to happen to you.
I will leave you with the following:
If you look around and pay attention, it is the “awakened” ones who are living through this experience with peace and ease. They have continued on with their days as if nothing has changed and have nothing to fear. Don’t you want to feel this peace too?
“The root of suffering is resisting the certainty that no matter what the circumstances, uncertainty is all we truly have.”― Pema Ch?dr?n, Comfortable with Uncertainty: 108 Teachings on Cultivating Fearlessness and Compassion
This is something that I have had to work very hard on. Living in continuous change and uncertainty. Each time I feel myself needing to “know” what’s going to happen or to “plan” and I don’t get the answers, I take some grounding breaths in and out and remind myself that this moment is all I need.
If you are ready to start transforming your life, I have a couple of openings for clients that are brave and ready to take action. You can schedule a complimentary 30-minute call with me here: YouUnstuck

4 年Sorry but I’m not into this post and what does that really mean I’m not afraid of dying. I think I understand your underlying POV but not appreciated while many are fearful of dying at this time.
