I’m 2+ years late. All because of Procrastination.
I didn’t make the money I wanted, I wasn’t good at communicating and I wasn’t thinking. All because of?‘procrastination’. It was like a drug.
It’s too common these days to fall into the?trap, am I right?
I mean, you’ve got all these sources of distraction,
Soft Drugs
All these temporary?dopamine releases?are keeping you back, holding you from taking the step which propels you forward in achieving your dreams.
Most people would say,?“Everyone does it these days, what’s wrong with a little bit of fun”.
You’re not wrong, you need to spend some time relaxing. But not to the extent that it is quite literally?shifting your focus from the main mission to some useless side mission.
There’s people watching around?350+ reels?an hour for 4–5 hours every single day. The amount of?free adult content?has only kept increasing on the internet, and now even 10 year old kids are watching it. There’s so many people with?superfluous friends?that they never needed, yet they have them.
The world is spiraling down into?‘crazy land’. Where people will not be able to control how they feel, and where you can do whatever you want, all because of that dopamine hit.
That’s basically a?drug addict.
The internet is slowly becoming a silent drug to most people, keeping them in one state of mind, which is more and more dopamine hits. That’s absolutely crazy.
I’d be lying if I said that I didn’t fall into the trap. I did, but once I’ve started to see how it affects people in real time, I feel like I HAVE to talk about this.
You must have noticed yourself addicted to something, that could be something external or internal… You might say that I’m addicted to good things like my business. But here’s a quote for you.
Too much of anything, Kills. Destroys. Obliterates.
Even if you’re doing work for longer hours, you’ll eventually find you’re not doing well mentally.
It’s like listening to your favorite song on repeat, but one day, you feel like you’re bored of it.
How to stay away from destruction -
There’s a small population which may have not fallen into this madness, YET… Thank God!
You need to beware of traps that will come in front of you.
All of y’all are going to need to hear this.
Here are some key ways you can stay clear of these soft drugs.
Nothing to fancy, make sure you are allocating time to everything you are doing in a day, and stick to it as much as possible. Make it easy to follow, that will help you stay consistent.
2. Be the 1% -

Only a small percentage of people actually win in life, the other’s keep floating around in the spectrum of life.
Understand this, to be successful, you need to be a top 1% human. It means do something that the rest 99% aren’t doing. If you see that 99% of people are indulging in this content, and if you do so under their influence, then be happy being broke.
Wanna move up the ladder? Become the 1% who work on themselves instead of wasting time.
3.?Drug ≠ Success?-
Smoking a cig, doesn’t show success.
If you’re in the top 1% and smoke, people look at you and understand that. But when some scrawny little dude, who is unsuccessful, smokes and acts all cool, people can see that.
I mean I sure can. You’ll notice it too. Just look at the people around you. This applies to any soft drug.
4.?You don’t NEED ‘it’ -
If you’re still sane and haven’t gone crazy, then you know that you don’t need these things to survive.
But what if you’re too addicted, to the point where you HAVE to take your phone to the washroom and scroll tiktok, then that’s sad. Is your brain that used to novelty that it can’t stay without it?
Remember?WANTS and NEEDS are different. Next time you feel like taking a digital drug, think about why you’re doing it.?Do you WANT it? Or NEED it?
My experience-
At the end of the day, all I can do is communicate some ideas that I have. Having seen so many of my friends go down the?‘dark path’, it makes me feel like all hope for humanity is fading slowly and consistently.
I don’t want it to happen, but just look at the number of people who are clean and who aren’t (i.e. Clean as in people who haven’t tried any physical drugs or aren’t addicted to digital drugs).
From the many people I have interviewed, the only answer I’ve found is,?“Nah bro it ain’t worth it. Felt good at the moment, but I do regret it now” “I’ve wasted a chunk of my life”.
And it is scary honestly…
Stay safe out there guys.?The world is a bright place, but where there’s a bright light, is a shadow. And a lot of bad sh_t happens in the shadows.
Till then!
P.S. I know this was a long article, but I guess this is stuff people should know more about.
There are some many people who keep to themselves and it’s way better if people know that they are wasting their time.
P.P.S. BTW I’m posting on Substack as well. I’d love it if you could visit and subscribe! So that way you’ll stay updated at all times + you get a notification on your email.
